Real Life Weight Loss Story: No Strict Diet, No Extreme Workout; Only These TWO Things Helped A Man Lose 10 Kilos

A lot of people will resonate with this that the will power to lose weight has to come from within. When Harshit Nayyar reached the age of 34, he saw how people in his close circle were falling prey to diseases, because of obesity. This is when he decided to take stock of his health and weight situation before things started going south. He weighed 110 kgs before and with sheer consistency and right choices, he was able to bring it down by 10 kgs in a span of 6 months. The best part about his weight loss journey is that he never took any extreme step. His journey highlights that losing weight isn't complicated at all. All one needs to do is be patient.

One hack that worked out well for him...

He says that the one change he brought about in his lifestyle that really worked out well for him was cutting out sugar completely. "To be honest, there were days when I would indulge myself with junk food also. So, I never really took extreme measures. I wanted to take it slow. However, the one thing that I was particular about throughout was that I didn't consume sugar at all," he shared.

Improved gut and skin health...

Losing weight does help improve a slew of other parameters also. When Harshit lost weight, he saw improvement in his gut health. "I felt my digestion really got better. Plus, I always reduction in skin dryness. So, it's been really great," he shared.

Challenges he faced during weight loss journey...

"Given I stopped consuming sugar at all, I did experience headaches and felt low on energy most of the time. So, it was quite difficult, but I knew in the long run I would reap immense benefits. I am happy to report that my restraint on consuming sugar paid off well," he said.

Running and brisk walk worked wonders...

Harshit shares that he stuck to two things during the entire journey and they were running occasionally and brisk walking every now and then. "My regulated diet and cardio in the form of running and brisk walking helped me shed many kilos. Whats's amazing is that there was a point of time when I no longer fit into my old clothes. Even though I had to upgrade my wardrobe, it felt amazing to see how lose my old clothes had become," he explained.

Word of advice for people trying to lose weight...

"Don't try something drastic. Understand what is sustainable for you to continue in the long run and then stick to it. Be patient, be consistent. Results can take time, but they will come if you are making the effort consistently," he explained.
